Sawai Jai
Singh built the city of Jaipur in the eighteenth century.
Jaipur was India's first planned city and was architectured
by the brilliant architect Vidyadhar Bhattacharya from Bengal
who was commissioned to plan the city. He designed it in accordance with ancient Hindu treatise on architecture, the Shilpa Shastra
(Vaastu). The PINK color is associated with hospitality in Rajput
culture therefore the wall city was textured Pink.
Colorful bazaars delights for its Rajasthani handlooms and trinkets. Beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, once the residence of Maharajas, are worth admiration, not to mention the ambling camels and cheerful people in multi hued costumes that make Jaipur a tourist's paradise.

City Palace
The City Palace is Located in the heart of the walled city which depicts vision of the founder of Jaipur Sawai Jai Singh. It is a legacy of some of the most imposing and magnificent architecture, art and craft structure in the city. There is an amazing museum which is worth seeing.

Albert Hall
The Palace is Located just outside the walled city is the green garden called Ram Niwas garden, it has always been a place of recreational interest since the times of Sawai Ram Singh ji . There are huge gates to the garden area and a huge complex with small pools and fountains, Lush green lawns and beautiful flower beds all around the albert hall. Tourists coming to Jaipur never miss the beauty of the hall. It is currently converted into a museum.

Kanak Vrindavan
Located at the foothills of hills around Jaipur on the road to
Amer, an exquisite land scaped gardens with beautifully carved temple in beige stone is developed in the recent times, it has a vast complex with terrace sites all around and has some intricately carved columns made of marble. Tourists never miss this beautiful garden since it has also been a film shooting spot for many Indian films.

Birla Laxmi Narayan Temple
Situated below Moti Dungri Hill is the Birla Mandir or the Lakshmi - Narayan Temple. This is a modern temple built of white marble on top of a hillock,it indeed dominates the skyline of
Jaipur. The temple is built by the Birlas (industrialists). It is a structure of white marble and has three domes, each portraying the different approaches to religion. The presiding deities here are Vishnu (A Hindu God) and his consort Lakshmi the Goddess of wealth and fortune.

Jantar Mantar
By the side of the City Palace is the famous Observatory called Jantar mantar
built by Sawai Jai Singh, It is among the 5 famous Observatories in India.It is one of the largest. The king had a passion for Astronomy & numerology which made him create a collection of complex astronomical instruments
chiseled out of stone with the help of skilled workers. The Instruments give very accurate information even today.

Jaigarh
Among the three hilltop forts Jaigarh Fort was of military and security significance during the medieval India.It contains palaces, a granary, a well-planned cannon foundry, several temples, and a giant mounted cannon-the Jai Ban
(Jaivan) which is the largest cannon in the world. Jaigarh Fort is also known as the fort of victory.

Amer
Situated about 11 kilometers from Jaipur was the ancient citadel of
the Kachhawas, It was the Capital before.The Amer Fort is
a picturesque fort surrounded by hills all aruond.It
is a mixture of Hindu and Mughal architecture.It was
constructed by Raja Man Singh I in 1592 and was completed by Sawai Jai Singh I
The Structure is of red sand stone and white marble.
It is worth seeing and is being visited by tourists from
all around the world.
